SOUTH BAY GALLERIA ADDS TWO FRESH NEW RESTAURANTS AND THREE NEW FASHION RETAILERS

  • “Stone Oven” and “Chickennow” bring healthy and delicious new food options.
  • International jeweler “PANDORA” and luxury luggage shop “Sunsations” offer new, high-end products to local shoppers.
  • International clothing store “H&M” now open at South Bay Galleria.

SOUTH BAY, Calif., June XX, 2012 – South Bay Galleria has added five new stores to its shopping center, including two new eateries - Stone Oven, and Chickennow - as well as three new retailers:  international jewelry designer PANDORA;  designer luggage and sunglasses shop Sunsations Luggage and Sunglasses, and fashion clothing store H&M.

Two New Restaurants Bring Fresh Options to Shoppers

Stone Oven will open its thirteenth Southern California eatery within South Bay Galleria’s food court, bringing its famous fresh-baked focaccia bread, along with hot sandwiches and crisp salads to South Bay shoppers.

Stone Oven focuses on its unique foccacia bread, which is baked fresh in-house every 15 minutes.  The restaurant offers an assortment of hot sandwiches, as well as fresh salads which feature this signature bread.

“Bringing Stone Oven’s unique fresh-baked focaccia bread concept to our sophisticated customers is a wonderful addition to our shopper experience,” said Mickey Marraffino, Regional Marketing Director of South Bay Galleria.

In addition, Chickennow will open in South Bay Galleria’s food court this month.  The restaurant, which specializes in fresh, made-to-order chicken tenders, offers a variety of dishes including hot sandwiches, salads, wraps and wings.

“Chickennow does things differently,” Marraffino said.  “Their chicken fingers are never frozen and are marinated at least 24-hours before being served.”

“Both Stone Oven and Chickennow are aligned with our commitment to providing our patrons with healthy food options while at the center,” explained Marraffino. “As part of the ongoing Blue Zones Project initiative, we anticipate that the local beach community will welcome these new eateries with open arms due to their fresh ingredients and healthy menu options.”

Unique International Jeweler Offers Individualized Options

International jewelry store PANDORA, headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, will open its newest location at South Bay Galleria this June.  PANDORA’s mission is to offer women across the world a universe of high quality, hand-finished, modern and genuine jewelry products at affordable prices, thereby inspiring women to express their individuality. PANDORA jewelry is sold in more than 65 countries.

“At South Bay Galleria, we are always seeking retailers who will bring unique products to our shoppers, and PANDORA will provide our patrons with even more opportunities to find the right accessories for any occasion,” noted Marraffino.

Luxury Offerings Now Available From Sunsations

Sunsations Luggage and Sunglasses, a California retailer which sells the most designer luggage and sunglasses in the Los Angeles and San Bernardino areas, will also open at South Bay Galleria, bringing a variety of designer brands to South Bay shoppers.

“Sunsations offers some of the most beautiful and high-end brands of luggage and sunglasses available anywhere, and it is important to us that these products are available to our South Bay Galleria shoppers,” explained Marraffino.

Designer luggage sold at Sunsations includes VICTORINOX, SAMSONITE, Jansport and Delsey, as well as exclusive lines from TUMI and Rimowa, among others.  Sunglasses are also available from designers such as Ray Ban, Prada and Versace.

International Retailer H&M Now Open At South Bay Galleria

International fashion retailer H&M has also opened at South Bay Galleria, providing clothing and accessories for women, men, youth, and children in the South Bay area.  Since its initial establishment in Sweden in 1947, H&M opened its first U.S. store in 2000, and has now become one of the most well-known fashion retailers in the country.

“The addition of H&M further expands our unique fashion offerings at South Bay Galleria.  We continue to be the one-stop-shop our patrons are seeking in order to find all the fashion and accessories they need, all within the innovative and engaging shopping experience we create at our center,” added Marraffino.
