SOUTH BAY, Calif., (October 1, 2015) – Families throughout Greater Los Angeles will have a unique opportunity this winter. South Bay Galleria has announced that Adventure to Santa – a DreamWorks DreamPlace will open on November 7, offering guests an unforgettable journey inspired by a child’s most memorable experience: meeting Santa Claus.

Adventure to Santa - A DreamWorks DreamPlace is a first-of-its-kind holiday experience that starts with Shrek, ends with Santa, and seamlessly blends storytelling with cutting-edge technology.
The attraction features a virtual sleigh ride, which transports guests to the North Pole with the help of Shrek and his friends. Children and parents also enjoy interactive activities along the way, culminating in a grand finale celebration that includes meeting Mr. Claus himself, and of course snapping a few keepsake photos.
“The tradition of meeting Santa at a local shopping center is an experience that is cherished by families around the world,” continues Haddon. “With this new experience, we are elevating that tradition and delivering a new way for families in the Greater LA area to make their visit to our center a personal one.”

South Bay Galleria is one of only two hosts in Southern California for the Adventure to Santa – a DreamWorks DreamPlace attraction this year. The second California Adventure to Santa DreamPlace will be located at Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga.
